Investing Program

Our investing program revolves around fundamental analysis which evaluates individual companies by looking at the firm’s financial statements and examining various ratios and other metrics. This is used to estimate a company’s intrinsic value based on its revenues, profit, costs, capital structure, cash flows, and so forth. Company metrics can then be compared with industry peers and competitors. Finally, these can be compared to the broader market or larger economic environment.

Trading Program

In this program, students will attempt to evaluate a security’s value based on business results such as sales and earnings. Unlike fundamental analysis,  technical analysis focuses on the study of price and volume where technical tools are used to scrutinize the ways supply and demand for a security will affect changes in price, volume, and implied volatility.
